‘Flying Swords/Perplexed’ is the first instalment of the “Teddy Bear Trilogy”. Infamy hits us with his dense, undeniably urban sound in ‘Flying Swords’ and ‘Perplexed’. Combining deep, washing atmospheres and a brooding string section with raw drums and overall tight production techniques, INP019’s sound could be considered one of the hardest crossovers of Drum and Bass with shades of Breakcore one could muster. Above all, the density is to be noted- this release is heavy, hard and unrelenting in its onslaught of breaks that is so wonderfully complemented with the subtleties of its ambience, undertones and overtones.
